Lets face it : synthwave, like any genre, has a tendency to become repetitive. Many Producers get stuck in retro stereotypes to the point of cliche, and tend to repeat the same themes, again and again.
I find myself drawn to this type of music and imagery for some pretty obvious reasons; I grew up in the 80’s.
