A mere year after unveiling the score to the Masebrothers film Cyborg : Deadly Machine alongside Fixions, Meteor returns with his follow-up to 2020’s Chaos Theory. Riding the thin line between sweet synthwave nostalgia and heavy darksynth grit, Meteor’s Phantom Zone is a journey across Retrowave’s different incarnations, laced with the producer’s unmistakable lead riffage and a decent amount of 80s’ cheese for good measure.
