Following up on their tribute to City-pop Yume No Machi, Brighton-based producer Opus Science Collective has returned with an equally refreshing angle to croon your senses to sweet surrender. As the title suggests, Deuce is an EP focused on the bright, punchy sounds of Tennis Videogame soundtracks. It’s funky, colorful, and long enough to leave you yearning for another set.

London Synthwave artist 80s Stallone has returned for yet another round of pure synthstalgia. Released last Friday, Engaged comes as a direct successor to his classic debut Hotline, released a full 10 years ago. Retro to the core, 80s Sly has gone out of his way to ensure a seamless transition between the two records, as though time had truly stood still. Given the thematic focus on phone lines, we’d usually express some distress at the idea of being stuck in an endless loop of hold music, but 80s Stallone’s return might just be the one occasion that will keep us on the line just a little longer…

Taurus 1984 are pumping out the singles for what’s shaping up to be a highlight release for 2022. Swansea duo Taurus 1984 are prepping for what appears to be a smashing full-length debut. Following up on the dazzling ‘Rosebud’ featuring Karl Lewis, ‘Modern Romance’ is the fourth single and title track to the group’s upcoming album set to release on July 1^st of this year. Mixed and produced by the one and only Michael Oakley, the song keeps the party going with a slick late-80’s to early 90s’new jack flair and features vocals by All Together Now winning singer Shellyann Evans.
