In the four years that have gone by, something cold, alien and deadly has been frantically cutting through the fabric of reality.

As the night grows ever darker a brutal, systematic rhythm can be heard coming from a distance.
A sound of metallic heels colliding against black basalt stones, the hissing of a blade gleaming wildly through the shadows, a low, regular rumble that amplifies the vast darkness that surrounds us.

The sound of a monochrome nightmare.

The air around us feels heavier, everything feels faster, reality hits harder than ever before.

A sudden realization materializes, bringing forth a different point of view.
And in an attempt to reach for understanding, we start to listen very carefully.

We are being stalked.
We are being followed all too closely by something, someone we fail to identify.

And only now we start to see.

“REPLAY is the second single taken from “CUT”, CONFRONTATIONAL’s fifth album scheduled for release in Spring 2023 via NRW Records.

The collection of eight tracks features exclusive collaborations with DOVIAK (composer, producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist working for Johnny Marr), Antoni Maiovvi (electro-disco Producer, DJ, film composer and co-owner of Giallo Disco Records) and Adrien Grousset (songwriter, founder of HACRIDE, EREI CROSS and guitarist for CARPENTER BRUT), along with artwork curated by HauntLove, the creative director and designer known for his work with Arrow video (Giallo Essentials, Apprentice To Murder), Vinegar Syndrome (Dario Argento’s Trauma, Jeff Hathcock’s Night Ripper) and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats.

A nocturnal portrait of the author by film-maker, writer and photographer Emilio Bellu adorns the pages of the release.
