All about love by SIERRA

Paris-based producer Sierra has just dropped her third EP All About Love as an early holiday gift to set your senses ablaze. Following up on her cinematic and introspective Gone EP released last year,  All About Love and its two tracks sink deeper still, pushing the sonic violence and chaos beyond the threshold of sanity into a fever dream-like experience of unbound animosity and bloodlust. Let loose, release your inhibitions and let catharsis wash over your senses in the cavernous depths of depravity.

On top of that, STRNGR announced: “Any and all proceeds go toward either the NAACP legal defense and education fund and campaign zero to end police brutality.”

I sadly had missed the boat on many of STRNGR’s other releases – recognizing the multi-talented producer more for his astounding physical art and remixes than his original production. That was a mistake and a gross oversight on my part.

“Bumping Uglies” is a truly fantastic showing, joining darksynth, industrial and techno to astounding effect. Similar in some ways to Gesaffelstein, Street Fever, Schwefelgelb, or Filmmaker – STRNGR still never feels derivative and retains a disgustingly satisfying originality.

In the Bandcamp description it reads, “There was supposed to be more.” I sure hope more is coming, because I can’t wait to hear it.
