This release was the first I’ve truly delved into Arcis, though NewRetroWave has uploaded a few tracks of theirs in the past.  Instantly immersed in deftly produced chillsynth and ambient vibes, I knew that I had to feature this release. With a sound reminiscent of Boards of Canada, Home, and Tycho, you really can’t go wrong.

In spite of having that “chillsynth” aesthetic, Arcis still exudes retrosynth vibes, making this release and excellent crossover between the genres. Go grab a cassette now here before they’re gone! Check out a teaser of their sound in the video below:
